Dates for your diary

The Medway meetup this week went OK, was good to meet another party member in my area and discuss future plans. If anyone wants to have an event in there area let me know, in the meantime the next London event will be March 11th.

In addition there are a few other events in London the next few weeks that may be of interest:

Monday February 21st- The Freedom Association's Free Spirits will be hosting Alex Deane, Director of Big Brother Watch, to discuss 'The State of Civil Liberties in Britain'. Details here

Wednesday March 2nd: The Adam Smith Institute has a lecture by Professor George Selgin on The anachronism of state controlled money, see here for more info and to RSVP

Thursday March 3rd, Professor George Selgin (again) is lecturing at the IEA on 'The financial crash, free banking and the evolution of new monetary systems',

And finally, when I popped down town this morning I was given a flyer by 'Medway against the Cuts' which mentioned the TUC are having a big rally in London on Saturday 26th March. Anyone interested in having a counter-protest please get in touch...

Medway meetup and other SE events

Hello everyone. Has been a while since I last posted here, have been really busy what with my trip to Kenya and a subseqent stomach upset.

Netherless I did find time last week to attend a meeting about standing for my local council, and so have created a Medway meetup event for members in that area to get to know each other and plan a campaign of action. Details can be found here, hopefully see some of you there.

Meanwhile up in London, and via the facebook mises group, there is an event that may be of interest at the LSE this friday (see here), and another talk on Hayek at the IEA next week (see here).

Hopefully will be more news this week ahead
