Dates for your diary

This Tuesday the Adam Smith Institute is launching Tim Worstall's new book Chasing Rainbows at Cass Business School, full details here.

Then on Thursday is the SE monthly meetup at Rose and Crown. If you haven't been before more info here .

The week after on the 9th the Cobden Centre is having a Christmas reception, with a speech by Steve Baker MP The event runs from 6.00-9.00pm, National Liberal Club, Number One Whitehall Place, Westminster, London SW1. To reserve your place email Dr. Helen Evans (hsevans@btinternet.com)

We'd like to kick off the session this week by following up on the actions and ideas shared at the AGM. Anyone likewise interested can join us at 1830. Follow the #lpuk tag on Twitter or ask the bar staff.

I don't want to make the evening any less fun, so we'll quit talking shop once non-members start to join us.

There are reports coming in of snow related casualties but the drinks are - for now at least - still on.
