The system can work for the people...

This made me laugh a lot yesterday...
A DRIVER who got a court judgement against Newham Council over his parking tickets hired bailiffs to take the London council's computer network in lieu of payment.

Z-Un Noon was awarded £5,000 damages for each of the four parking tickets he received after he appealed four £50 parking tickets.

The Council forgot to turn up in court and Noon was awarded a default judgement and a court order to collect the cash.

Noon sent around baliffs to collect goods to the value of £20,000 which in this case was council computer gear.

Read the rest at the Inquirer -- cos it so nearly has a happy ending.
